Welcome to Springboard After School at LMS!
Springboard offers a balanced approach to after school, with a truly unique academic component. Each day, the afternoon begins with time to relax with friends in our den. Our Den provides an assortment of activities including air hockey, Wii, arts & crafts, chess and more.
We also offer optional Electives that meet for one hour once a week – in conjunction with our Core Program (of Academic and Den time) or by itself. Electives are designed to offer fun and enriching activities on anything from robotics, to hip hop, cooking, photography & more. 
Comprised entirely of certified teachers, each child receives crucial academic assistance each day. Our teachers ensure that homework is complete, provide tutoring, and work with your child’s school teacher to identify academic needs. Once homework is complete, it is time to return to the den to relax until pick up time.
Rate Informaton: After School (until 6:00 pm): only $15.99 per day. Discounts are available -- contact Springboard for more information. There is a new Homework Power Hour option described below for $8.99 per day.
You can pay for one day, a week or whatever works for your family. Sign up is flexible and online for your convenience. For example, if you go home on Monday and find out you need a place for your child to go Tuesday afternoon, visit the Springboard website and sign up for Tuesday. If your child is interested in just one elective, sign up for that and he/she can take the late bus home. The program is designed to be flexible and work into each family's constantly changing schedule.

Program Options at Litchfield Middle School
- Core Program from dismissal to 6:00, (You may also choose this option if your child is participating in an LMS sport or club to incorporate homework time before pick up)
- Core Program and elective from dismissal until 6:00, or
- Elective from dismissal until 3:30 late bus or pick up.

- NEW FOR 2011/2012 School Year- HOMEWORK POWER HOUR - Students will arrive at Springboard from their classrooms and go directly to homework. These students will be done by 3:15 to board late bus or for early pick up. This service is $8.99 per day.
