Technology

Welcome

Welcome to the Litchfield School District Technology Department, consisting of:

Director of Information Technology, Christopher Jamrog
Technology Specialist, Jamison McCartney
Database Administrator, Andrea Stern
Digital Learning Specialist, Karen Desjadon

Litchfield School District is networked throughout, with centralized data management provided by Windows Servers supporting approximately 1800 students and 300 employees with hardline and wireless access. Our computing facilities include five Windows computer labs, eight laptop carts, and three Chromebook carts spread throughout the district, approximately 30 SMART Boards, over 60 LCD and Epson Smart Projectors and 60 networked laser printers. All teachers are outfitted with a computer in their classroom while additional student computers are located in the libraries and in other locations throughout the buildings.

We have some exciting initiatives in the Technology Department, including Newline Panels, Projectors, wireless networking, Chromebooks, VLACS, and e-Portfolios!

Acceptable Use Policy

Please see below our Staff & Student acceptable use policy. All staff & students must sign and return an AUP in order to gain access to the Litchfield School District network.

Chromebook Procedures

The Litchfield School District is deep into its 1:1 technology program.  Chromebooks are placed with students in grades 5-12.

As we move forward the Technology Department has established Chromebook Repair Procedures, which you can view by clicking the link below.  These procedures will be followed for any District owned Chromebook.
